Whip and color the base
- Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks using a stand mixer. Stop when the cream holds firm peaks that stay upright when you lift the beaters.
- Whisk the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, almond extract, blue food coloring, and salt together until vibrantly blue. Keep whisking until the color is even with no streaks.
Combine and freeze
- Fold the condensed milk mixture into the whipped cream gently until just combined. Mix only until no white streaks remain to keep the texture light.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and the crumbled chocolate chip cookies. Distribute the cookie pieces evenly without overmixing.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x5 loaf pan and freeze at least 6 hours or overnight until firm. Ensure the top is level so it freezes evenly for clean scoops.
Notes
Pro tip: For the stiffest whip and smoothest texture, chill your mixing bowl and beaters for 10 minutes before whipping the heavy cream. Store leftovers covered in the freezer for up to 2 weeks; the texture softens slightly after several days. Freezing is required—do not refrigerate as it will not set like ice cream. For an allergy-aware swap, use an egg-free vanilla ice cream base is not applicable here since this is no-churn, but you can choose gluten-free Oreo-style cookies and gluten-free chocolate chip cookies to make it gluten-free.
