Ingredients

Pretzel squares
  • 30 mini pretzel squares or rounds Use mini squares or rounds so every bite gets a good chocolate-to-crisp ratio.
White chocolate base
  • 16 oz white chocolate melting wafers Melting wafers melt smoothly; stir between microwave intervals to prevent scorching.
Red and blue drizzles
  • 1 red candy melts Melt separately and drizzle immediately so the chocolate topping can be decorated while wet.
  • 1 blue candy melts Melt separately and drizzle in a thin zigzag for the red-white-blue look.
Finish and release
  • 1 red, white, and blue star sprinkles Scatter right away so they stick to the wet chocolate.
  • 1 parchment paper Line the baking sheet to prevent sticking and make breaking easier.

Method

Prep the tray
  1. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the mini pretzel squares in a single layer, leaving space so they don’t touch tightly.
Melt white chocolate
  1. Melt the white chocolate melting wafers in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until completely smooth.
Coat the pretzels
  1. Spoon or drizzle the white chocolate over each pretzel, covering the top while leaving the edges slightly visible for a crisp border.
Melt red and blue candy melts
  1. Melt the red candy melts in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth, then repeat the same method for the blue candy melts.
Drizzle and sprinkle
  1. Drizzle the red and blue candy melts over the white chocolate-coated pretzels using a spoon or piping bag.
  2. Immediately scatter the red, white, and blue star sprinkles over each piece while the chocolate is still wet so they adhere.
Set and serve
  1. Let the bites sit at room temperature for 30 minutes until fully set, or refrigerate for 10 minutes if you want them to firm up faster.
  2. Break apart the set pretzel bark bites and serve once the chocolate is firm.

Notes

Pro tip: Keep the pretzels dry before coating—any moisture can make chocolate seize. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3–4 days; refrigerate up to 1 week. Freezing isn’t recommended because the sprinkles can dull after thawing. For a lighter option, use dark chocolate or a sugar-free white chocolate melting substitute while keeping the same drizzle and sprinkle steps.
