Ingredients

  • 2 oz blanco tequila
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1.5 oz cranberry juice
  • 1 oz apple cider
  • 0.75 oz fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 oz maple syrup
  • 1 Ice
  • 1 Cinnamon sugar for the rim
  • 1 Fresh cranberries
  • 1 rosemary sprig

Method

Rim and prep
  1. Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a glass, then dip it in cinnamon sugar to coat the edge.
  2. Fill the glass with ice.
Shake and serve
  1. Shake tequila, orange liqueur, cranberry juice, apple cider, fresh lime juice, and maple syrup with ice for 15 seconds.
  2. Strain the drink into the prepared glass over ice.
  3. Garnish with fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig, then serve.

Notes

Pro tip: for a crisp rim, dip the glass rim right after rubbing with lime and keep the cinnamon sugar layer dry before adding ice. Refrigerate leftover ingredients (tequila/citrus/syrup) up to 24 hours, but mix and serve the cocktail fresh; freezing isn’t recommended for best texture. For a lighter option, use maple syrup “light” (or reduce to 1/4 oz) and keep cranberry juice as directed to maintain the holiday flavor balance.
